About Me

Do you have a child or teen with ADHD whose attention, emotions, or behavior feel hard to manage, even when you’re trying everything you know how to do? Are routines, school demands, or family interactions turning into constant stress or conflict?

I specialize in supporting families whose children and teens struggle with ADHD-related challenges, including difficulty with regulating attention, organizational skills, emotional regulation, and behavior. Many families come to me feeling overwhelmed and unsure what to do to actually make things better. My approach first focuses on helping the child or teen and their parents understand how an ADHD brain works and that ADHD brains need strategies and tools unique to how they are wired. In other words, the goal is never to force kids to behave like they don't have ADHD. The goal is to help them draw on their strengths and learn ways to manage their challenges in a way that maintains and honors their unique way of being in the world.

For teens with ADHD, I also provide a specialized parent and teen therapy approach focused on improving communication, reducing conflict, and strengthening connection within the parent-teen relationship. This work is designed specifically for families navigating ADHD during adolescence, when expectations and emotions often intensify, and teens naturally want more autonomy and independence.

In addition to ADHD-focused work, I also support children and teens who are experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, or behavioral challenges. While ADHD is a central area of expertise for me, I enjoy helping families think broadly and thoughtfully about what will be most supportive for their child as a whole.

I also lead the Calm and Connected Parenting Group, that focuses on helping parents regulate their own emotions when parenting feels overwhelming. These groups are not diagnosis-specific. They are designed to help parents understand their emotions and responses, build regulation skills, and respond more intentionally, whether their child is navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, or other challenges.

My approach is trauma-informed, highly collaborative, and tailored to each family’s strengths and needs. I am deeply committed to providing care that is inclusive and responsive to families from historically under-served and excluded communities, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ families. While my work is grounded in evidence-based practice, I also recognize that these approaches often need to be thoughtfully adapted to reflect real family structures, identities, and lived experiences.
