About Me
I love to work with children and families who feel stuck in hard moments. It’s so painful to watch your child struggle with big feelings, challenging behaviors, or the impact of past trauma, and not know how to help in a way that leads to meaningful change.
As a parent of foster and adoptive children myself, I can completely relate to that heavy feeling of wanting the very best outcomes for your child and not always knowing what to do next. That lived experience deeply shapes how I show up for families in my work.
My passion is helping families understand what is really driving a child’s behavior and then learning how to respond in ways that actually help. I especially enjoy working with strong-willed children and the parents who love them deeply and want calmer, more effective ways to handle difficult situations.
I also specialize in working with children and families navigating ADHD and attention-related challenges, and I truly enjoy supporting parents as they learn strategies that make daily life feel more manageable and connected. I also specialize in helping kids and teens with Autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief and loss. I use evidence-based treatments (PCIT, CBT, TF-CBT) to make sure that kids get better quickly and work within a neurodiversity-affirming framework to make sure that all neurotypes and understood and respected.
My goal is to help parents feel confident in their responses and to help children and teens feel safe, understood, and more regulated.
