Dr. Dobbins is a licensed psychologist and licensed specialist in school psychology with over 10 years of experience consulting with educational systems and families to meet the diverse needs of children, adolescents, and young adults. She has a specialization in conducting psychological evaluations, particularly for individuals experiencing challenges in school or with learning.  Dr. Dobbins believes that the assessment process is not just focused on a diagnosis, but rather it is a process that provides insight to one’s unique strengths and identification of methods to enhance one’s journey to success. 

Dr. Dobbins completed her graduate training at the University of Florida, followed by an internship with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. Before settling in Houston, she completed an assessment focused postdoctoral fellowship with the University of Virginia Sheila Johnson Center. There she obtained advanced training in psychological and educational evaluations, including training in the use of the ADOS-2. Outside of practice, Dr. Dobbins is an avid runner, having completed numerous marathons and half marathons.
