“The children are our future” is a phrase that has always echoed in my mind and has served as the guiding post for my professional career.

A bit about me - Dr. Donna is a licensed psychologist with school psychology certification. For 20+ years she has helped parents, children, and communities identify and address factors that could serve as a hindrance to children reaching their full future potential. Her school based expertise includes experience with play therapy, conducting and interpreting psycho-educational evaluations, and family therapy. She has worked in a variety of settings including public K-12 schools, college/university, and a special-education therapeutic PK program.

Dr. Donna’s knowledge base and child (family) friendly approach has been beneficial when working with specific concerns such as anxiety, depression, autism-spectrum, and ADHD, or when navigating general parental concerns such as “I can’t get my daughter to focus on her homework” or “my son is spending all of his time locked in his room, and doesn’t really talk about how he’s feeling”.

Although she has honed a child centered perspective, Dr. Donna is also adept at helping adults navigate the variety of life challenges that can cloud one’s ability to make the necessary choices to live their desired life.

Dr. Donna’s professional training began by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Binghamton University, and then Master’s and Doctoral degrees in School Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University. She possesses a Georgia certification in School Psychology and a Georgia license in Psychology. She is theoretically grounded in the Cognitive Behavioral perspective, while placing significant value on the client-therapist working relationship. Her professional titles include Licensed Psychologist, Faculty instructor, Published author, and Professional speaker.
