Dr. Kahn is a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults understand their strengths, differences, and thrive in their daily lives. Dr. Kahn identifies as neurodivergent, and his lifelong experiences with ADHD is a central part of his compassionate approach to his clients. Dr. Kahn specializes in work with Neurodivergent (ND) clients with a particular focus on ADHD, Autism, and behavioral challenges with an eclectic array of approaches drawn from evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and parent training.

Dr. Kahn received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Syracuse University, and he earned his masters and doctoral degrees from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Kahn was an appointee to the Maine Advisory Committee for School Psychology, and he has supported numerous school committees to develop policies on mental health, suicide prevention, and improving access to learning supports within those communities. Dr. Kahn is the president of the board of directors of Bangor Ballet, and has served as their production manager for numerous community productions. Dr. Kahn is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
